Reading Club makes front page news!

Newspaper clip

ACFA’s Reading Club made front page news in the Yarra Leader this week after winning a Yarra Council Award. The Reading Club was awarded as Community Service of the Year for the crucial role it plays in supporting African Australian families in Fitzroy; socially and educationally. The program runs twice each week, providing a warm and friendly space for African Australian children to read a range of books with volunteer mentors and receive homework assistance.

Many thanks Matoc and all the volunteers for your hard work!
